Chicago Area Sites:
A year ago, there were several independent daily deal sites in Chicago, but there are very few remaining. These sites operate exclusively or primarily in the Chicago area.
YouSwoop - Still going in a very tough market. They also have a reward system. The more deals you buy, the more points you earn. The more points you earn, the more free deals you’ll receive. It’s YouSwoop’s way of giving back to you.
TwoBuckDuck - One of the early daily deal sites, almost all the deals on their site can be had for only $2
In almost every other major city, the local newspaper has a daily deal site, but that is not the case in Chicago.

Saveology - Relatively new to Chicago. The quality and consistency of their deals remains to be seen.
TravelZoo – You could argue Travelzoo is one of the big dogs with over 23 million subscribers worldwide. However, they are not primarily a local daily deal company and usually only have one deal running in Denver at any time.
Weforia – Weforia is powered by yellowbook.com operates in about 2 dozen cities including chicago.
Gilt City - Specializes in higher end services in the Chicago area. Part of the Gilt Groupe collection of deal sites. Acquired BuyWithMe in 2011.
Amazon Local - Amazon’s popular local deals site has a presence in Chicago.
Plum District - Focused on family deals in the Chicago area. They also have great national family focused deals.
ScoutMob – Relatively new to Chicago, the Atlanta based Scoutmob distinguishes themselves with a cool app and deals that are FREE to claim.
Tippr – Tippr has been around for a while as an independent deal site and they are still offering deals in Chicago.
